ckwtime asked:
I have read somewhere that it is only off 1-3 days at most in either direction. Can you use this date to calculate conception if you don’t remember exactly when it was?
I’m talking about in the first trimester

Yes, the earlier the ultrasound the more accurate it is, within about 5-7 days at the most. It can’t tell within 1-3 days with any certainty.

i did it with both of my babies within the first 8 weeks, its very accurate and you can see the little baby so much better this way!

well it can probably estimate your date of conception… but ***** can live in the uterus for a few days and you don’t actually conceive until you’re about “2 weeks pregnant”

Yes, that’s what my doctor told me. We had a situation where we didn’t have a clue about my conception date, so she went by the earliest ultrasound dating. There are certain milestones that are easy to identify having to do with organ development (what develops when).

yes. I believe they were 1 day off for me.
